Grammar is the whole system and structure of a language.


All the words in the English language can be placed in eight parts of speech.
  1. Noun: A naming word
Example:  Mumbai - place, Jack - person, Computer - things, hope - a state of mind.
  1. Pronoun: A word that used instead of a noun.
Example:  I, We, You, He, she, They
3.Verb: An action word.
Example: think, run, sleep
  1. Adjective: A word that describes the noun.
Example:  House is word, large house large is a describing  word
  1. Adverb: A word which gives us information about a verb, adjective or another adverb.
Example: He sings "sweetly".
  1. Preposition: A word that shows the relationship between other words in a sentence.
Example:  He comes "into" the room.
  1. Conjunction: A word that is used to connect words, sentences, phrases
Example:  Sony "and" Apple are my favorite brand.
8.Interjection: A words or phrases that express strong feelings or emotions.
Example:  Wow, Oh God, Uh oh
