**Solution:**

**Q1. SOL: C**

Perimeter of plot =2( l+𝑏)=2(35+16)=102 m

Total cost of fencing =7×102= Rs. 714

**Q2. SOL: B**

P — 45000 × 12

Q — 54000 × 6

R — 30000 × 8

Ratio of their profit = 45 : 27 : 20

∴Total profit earned =92/45×13500 =27600**Q3.SOL: E**

(6×10%)of A = (10 × 12%) of B = (12 × 15%) of C

(A, B, C are the investments)

0.6 A = 1.2 B = 1.8 C

A:B:C: = 6:3:2

**Q4. SOL: A**

Let average age of new students =𝑥yr.

15.20=40×15+10×𝑥40+10

15.20=600+10𝑥50

760=600+10𝑥

10𝑥=160

𝑥=16 yr.

**Q5. SOL: B**

Let C.P. of A = 2x

C.P. of B = x

Total cost price = 3x Mark-up price=3x×1210 =3.6x

ATQ,

3.6x – 9 = 3x × 1.17

⇒3.6x – 3.51x = 9

⇒ 0.09x = 9

⇒ x = 100

C.P. of article A = 200**Q6. SOL : B**

(132 * 5)/18 = (100+165)/t

T = 275 * 18 / (132 * 5)

T = 7.5 second**Q7. SOL: A**

Area = 2x

^{2}
2x

^{2}* 2 = 256 => x^{2}= 64 => x = 8
Required Length = 2 * 8 = 16 m

**Q.8 SOL: A**

¾ * ¾ * ¼ = 9/64

**Q.9 SOL: A**

The first number is 888 which neither contain 9 or multiple of 13.

So profit will be maximum at 888

Required profit = 888 – 500= 388

**Q10. SOL: D**

While selling while buying

-100 +200

1000

Actual given to customer = 900

Received total quantity while buying = 1200

Required profit = (1200-900)/900 * 100

= (300/900) *100

= 33.33%
